Questions to ask you!

Hello everyone 😊

This post is kind of about self evaluation, do you ever just sit and evaluate yourself? Or at least try to improve yourself? If so, I’m sure these questions will help. 

1. Where is you Your Hearts guiding you?

2. What do you want to say that others have left unspoken?

3. Are there any skills or talents that you will not utilising? 

4. What concerns are you willing to release?

5. Have you focused on how you look rather than how you feel?

6. Have you been worrying too much about what others think of you?

❤❤ Every now and then it’s good to ask yourself these questions because the answers are very important. Ask them on a weekly basis for personal growth and happiness ❤❤

Holy Shift! 

So today I have a quote from the book ‘Holy Shift’ it’s one of those meditation books that have a quote for you to read every day. I haven’t read it in a while but I looked through the other day and saw this quote:

When your peace is threatened or disturbed in any way, say to yourself:

I do not know what anything, including this, means. And so I do not know how to respond to it.  And I will not use my own past learning as the light to guide me now.

By this refusal to attempt to teach yourself what you do not know,  mother Guide Whom God has given you will speak to you.

He will take His rightful place in your awareness the instant you abandon it, and offer it to Him. 

I really love the words used in this paragraph and also the meaning is quite beautiful as a way to live my life ♥ ♥

Crying is GOOD!? 😢 

Hey everyone, this has to be one of the most interesting things I have read recently even though I kind of knew already, it was still very useful to understand why and how. 

A professor of pharmaceuticals in the 1970s named Dr. William Frey discovered that the main function of emotional tears (when you feel sad) 😔 is to help the body to recover from a stressful situation by releasing lots of hormones and other proteins. Dr. William found out that tears form to rid the body of excess hormones (stress hormones) this is why after we cry, we usually feel much better like a weight has been lifted. Tears = less stress

Thoughts Become Things 

This is literally the best motto, mantra or saying you can live by. I’ve been recently trying to improve myself overall and practice being the best version possible and these words ‘thoughts become things’are really helping 😊 it is actually scientifically proven that having a positive attitude and mindset can improve your wellbeing and life because you are surrounding your mind with good thoughts and not allowing negativity to get to you. Many well known people actually lived by this and they are well known and famous today for there success. Throughout your day I challenge you to always remember ‘thoughts become things’ and see the amazing changes that take place in your life!!

The Heart Chakra ♥ 

The heart chakra (Anahata) is our energy point of compassion and love 😍. It is physically located just behind the heart area and this chakra is very powerful when used as a focus point for meditation.

When we meditate out heart chakra, it gives us the chance to blossom our awareness to personal and physical forms of love, not only that but the universal love and the true acceptance of self love. 

The heart chakra embraces all things related to love and anyone who focuses their meditation on this will benefit from exploring this energy.

Self Love

Simple things you can do to achieve self love.

1. Spend time alone

2. Admit your mistakes and move on

3. Listen to your emotions

4. Sleep on it, before making major decisions

5. Teach people how you’d like to be treated 

6. Choose to be responsible for your actions

7. Feed your dreams and talents

Self love will lead to profound healing for your body, mind and soul 🙂

Mantras for Happiness & Love

Say these mantras to yourself, out loud in the mirror every morning for the best experience.

It’s now October, time sure does fly 😉 Halloween is soon on the way. For the month of October try and spread love and happiness everywhere you go.

We all get Spots/Acne

It’s not your fault you have acne!

Maybe your skin just functions differently, you have larger pores which produce more oil. It’s not a problem your skin is just more sensitive to acne bacteria and hormonal fluctuations.

Be kind to your skin: stay away from  harsh products/cosmetics and aggressive techniques because they’re likely to cause inflammation. Be gentle and try to use less products that are organic or natural. Also don’t over exfoliate!!

If you ever find yourself thinking ‘I don’t like my skin’ quickly stop yourself because saying those words won’t help, find a good distraction or do something productive.
Be good to yourself, mind, body and soul. Exercise daily, get 7+ hours sleep, write down your thoughts and relax.

What’s on My Mind

We’ve had such lovely, warm weather today in the UK (almost too hot) but I’m not complaining.

I’m just lying here thinking about life, the world and everything that has happened fairly recently. Even though the chances of this are so low I wish that we all lived in a peaceful world where every colour and culture was just accepted by all. We are human beings and deserve the right to an equal non-judgemental life. It’s not fair that certain types of people have to suffer because of the colour of their skin or their religious beliefs because everybody is different and stereotypes are often not accurate. Sometimes I wish there was something I could do to change things and make them better but this world is much too big for one to conquer 🙂 We also live in a world that is so obsessed technology that we forget real life things, simple things like nature.
